I have been on a spiritual journey ever since I discovered the divinity of my lord and saviour Jesus Christ or Isa Masiah as I fondly call him sometimes..
It was a discovery of acceptance , because he came unasked into my life… I had before been an unbeliever but when I encountered his greatness I started seeking him.
Scrolling through years of suffering and joy I stand now as I begun the journey.
With this release I have an document of ideas and poetry that I was blessedly able to record on audio with some of my friends who contributed to making this album what it is.
Orðlaus produced many wonderful tracks and Vrong1 as well.
I was helped lyrically by Óli Björn/ OBee , High Ru, Óli Ben, Black Fist ,Gnúsi Yones , Kolbrún Guðmundsdóttir and Hallvarður Ásgeirsson.
Bass players Andreds Tosh and Karl Magnus Björnsson also played an important role.
Also Katrin Heymann played the flute beautifully.
Juan Carlos joined on guitar as well.
Produced with these peoples help I had a couple of beats as well that they helped make sound so nice.
Starting doing Hip Hop in 1990 I enjoy the flow that went on in making this album and coming to terms with my age and progress in recent times I tried to use uplifting and positive lyrical approach.
Sure many of the songs are first or second takes and I seem not to have the gift of remembering every lyric so far but you get the idea …
I am happy with it and mastered by Futuregrapher , this was the best I could come up with.
Thank you to all my family and friends for giving me friendship, joy and love in good and bad.
I dedicate this album to my wife Kolla and our kids Kolbeinn, Tristan and Salka.
I really love you all and wish you the best in all of existence.
I guess you notice the spiritual element of my lyrics and yes they are many like that but I am not a fundamentalist regarding religion or ideas.. I like to read but to me rather than reading books on God I enjoy his friendship. A friendship without boundaries and restrictions.
It is an open approach to life , accepting others as they are as I am also accepted as I am.
For that I thank You my dear lord Jesus Christ.
And may this music I made for you and myself be full of goodness and niceness for all of the above and beyond.
